HVAC SERVICE MANAGER – FIELD & OFFICE OPERATIONS

Run Rite Mechanical is seeking an experienced, hands-on HVAC Service Manager to oversee our service department and support our technicians in the field. This is not an office-only position. The Service Manager will regularly visit job sites, check technicians’ work, assist with troubleshooting, and ensure every job meets company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support HVAC service technicians
• Visit job sites to inspect work and monitor progress
• Check on technicians throughout the day
• Assist technicians with troubleshooting and complex repairs
• Ensure jobs are completed correctly, safely, and efficiently
• Review service calls, technician notes, photographs, and paperwork
• Coordinate with dispatch regarding scheduling and job assignments
• Communicate with customers and resolve service-related concerns
• Confirm technicians have the proper materials, tools, and information
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Train, coach, and evaluate technicians
• Identify callbacks and take steps to prevent recurring issues
• Provide management with regular updates on technicians and active jobs

Qualifications:

• Extensive HVAC service and troubleshooting experience
• Previous supervisory or service-management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of heating, air-conditioning, and commercial HVAC systems
• Ability and willingness to travel to job sites regularly
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple technicians and service calls
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• EPA, SST, F60, and G60 certification required
